Pre-Production


Initial Plans and Proposals

Our target audience for this ad is the "ketchup People". Ketchup people is the name we gave to people that use Ketchup for every say use as a dipping sause or to put into sandwitchses exetra. This can include any age and any gender

Synopsis
Opening shots of 3 plates of hot steaming food sitting in a kitchen scene. Shot cuts to a large pot of Hellman's Mayonnaise being taken out of the fridge and put on the table. As a birds eye veiw of the pot, the jar gets opened at 3 spoons dives in to the jar. You then get shots of the people putting the Mayonnaise on their meals and tucking in. The last shot is the Pot of mayo sitting on the table as text apeares next to it saying "Kick Out The Ketchup"

Identification of Overt/Hidden Message
Obviously the main objective is to create sales for Hellman's by turning thier cooking sause to a dipping sauce that you can use for any meal. Using ketchup as a example, we are going to show that you can use mayo in ecatly the same way. Put it on your burger, pasta, anything you want. There will be no restictions to what you want to put on your food

Form And Style
Our style is stand alone Naturalistic advert. The advert is really going to sell better to family as our advert shows a family eating it. Also we are using a large jar or mayo with a sell buy date so a family would be more likely yo buy the product.

Relecance to the Audience
We are introdusing the product to families so we are going to show on the advert a family eating it. It is basic enough logic that if we show a family eating mayo, we will entice family members who do the shopping or family members telling the family member that does the shopping to buy mayo.
